It'll never be a big fight outside of the UK though. BJS is an awful human being, and Smith just isn't really a fan favorite.

I don't think it will be popular here either, it may sell out certain arenas (not sure if it would even sell out 02 here) but Smith is a dull character and not really an exciting fighter and as you've put it, nobody like BJS. He's so unlike-able it's unreal.

Didn't realize that you were a UK poster haha.

and yeah, People will root for BJS to lose, but he's so unlikable that he's more likely to just turn people off the fight entirely.

Hell, I enjoyed the Fury/Wilder stuff but there were two days where Saunders was involved, talking **** and throwing chicken and running away like hes some 12 year old youtube prankster and I was just annoyed by that too lol. I think at this point the guys face annoys me lmfao.

Probably not the best strategy while Smith is seeing what else is available

Not British but I can only assume it’s a decent sized fight right now , With a unification between 2 prime undefeated UK guys

But it could be a bigger fight but I doubt Hearn risks what it takes to get it there. Smith would probably need to fight Jacobs & win and Saunders would need to fight Golovkin and get the W also and then have Saunders / Smith fight after , I can’t imagine that not being a huge fight in the UK with both coming off massive wins both still Prime and undefeated in a unification fight

But this is boxing so the chances of that scenario happening are probably zero to none

Hearn has said all 3 of those guys are ready and willing to fight Canelo.

Smith and his manager turned down an offer to fight BJS on BT in July, for a 50/50 split.,

WBA super middleweight champion Callum ‘Mundo’ Smith 26-0 (19) has rejected an offer to face WBO boss Billy Joe Saunders 28-0 (13) in a unification bout WBA super middleweight champion Callum ‘Mundo’ Smith 26-0 (19) has rejected an offer to face WBO boss Billy Joe Saunders 28-0 (13) in a unification bout on a BT Sport pay-per-view in September.

“It’s not the offer that’d tempt Callum Smith, as the world number one, to defend his titles against Billy Joe Saunders on another network/platform, so that’s it,” Gallagher told Sky Sports.

“Me and Callum have already agreed that it’s not enough, the money’s not enough."

BJS was willing to accept the same money Smith rejected in July, so it's likely Callum's financial demands which are preventing it from happening immediately on Sky.

He must be asking for more money than either Warren or Hearn think the fight is worth right now.

                    yea. let's wait forever.
preferably when both guys are 60yr old and no one cares about them anymore.

oh wait... that's boxing 101. never mind

Canelo's financial rewards would be far greater than GGG's for any one of them.

I'm sure GGG would fight any or all of them in a heartbeat for the same money as Canelo would get.
