Act like it is normal? Buddy, we just saw the Navarrete/De Vaca card give away almost 2,500 tickets while selling 1,469. Giving away more tickets than selling happens more than you think. If other commissions in states like NY or the Mid-Western states actually released the real numbers, you would see that.

You don't think quite a bit of fans don't know by now that if you wait until the last few days or so you will probably get free tickets? You buy tickets to one damn card, and the next time there is a card at the same arena you will be getting emails the week of the fight giving away free tickets.

Again, giving away tickets is fine if you can't sell them. Go get rid of them at that point, but no way in hell is that the #1 priority. Promoters are trying to get as high of a gate as possible.

Hurd Williams had 6-7x the purses as Navarrete and only twice as many people. Case closed. And 3x the gate. Lost way more money. Case closed.

Funny how there is a certain set of fans that ran with Hearn saying Wilder/Breazeale sold 6,000 tickets when the sh^t he says about promoters cards is hilariously wrong. He once tried to say SSR/Estrada was doing better than Lomachenko/Crolla and that proved to be a terrible statement. Then he said Arum's last two cards sold a combined 800 tickets yet this one did damn near double that.

Navarette may be a title holder but he is an obscure fighter who isnt known outside of the hardcore Boxing circle. Non english speaking super bantam against a part time tortilla flipper as main event. What do you guys expect the numbers to be? Low rating shouldnt come as a surprise to anybody.
