Perfect fight for Canelo. Adds to his legacy picking up a 175 strap and the haters will convince themselves Kov is the guy to beat Canelo and will drive views.

I admire Canelo for seeking a fight with Kovalev, but it is could be a bridge too far for him. In fact, I think Kovalev should be considered the favorite fight. Kovalev is both a good boxer and a big puncher. He probably hits much harder than anyone Canelo has faced thus far plus is much bigger and with a significant reach advantage. I don't understand why people are saying Kovalev is a cherry-pick or conversely that Canelo will be destroyed by him. This is a genuine fight. Kudos to both of these great fighters.
