Shouldn't this be about whether Canelo is ready for Kovalev? We're not talking a 168lb Fielding. We're talking a 175 Kovalev. And Kovalev is actually a skillful boxer with a great jab, good power, underrated hand speed and underrated combinations. I know he's 36, but he isn't just a ear muff, come forward plodder.

Ward beat Kovalev not once, but twice. And that’s a reality you can’t deny, no matter how hard you try.

So, you actually thought Ward won the 1st fight, and you think ball punches are legal in the 2nd fight. If you really believe that biz... you are indeed a Ward fanboy. No other explanation. Anyone besides a Ward fanboy is fully aware of how Ward fouled MANY times throughout his career.
All I heard was a long, rambling post by Boxing Logic trying to explain how Kovalev didn’t really lose the two Ward fights (even though he did), he doesn’t get the credit he deserves (he does), and basically history should elevate this guy to some kind of boxing god. And everyone else sucks at boxing knowledge because they don’t think Kovalev is as good as he does. And then POW! you leap to his defense.
The mental gymnastics involved in trying to turn two Kovalev losses into two wins is what’s impressive here.
He lost. Twice. Just get over it, and move on. Who cares what I think? Facts are facts.
