... Tunde (back in April): "We already know this guy (Kovalev) gasses out after four rounds!"

... and Yarde waited for the 7th and 8th round to go "all in"... Why???

What a goofball trainer. He should be holding mitts for group classes with soccer moms .

This guy is a joke and ultimately very dangerous. If Yarde is smart he will leave this guy asap and go to an actual trainer. One of the most dangerous things for a fighter is having someone in ur corner who has no clue what he's doing

Wtf is with people saying the trainer needs to go after every damn fighter loses?

Yarde, with very little experience in the ring amateur and pro, went 11 rounds and damn near knocked out Kovalev, a potential Hall of Famer.

I suppose he could have done that without Tunde, huh? All these fuckin experts in here smh! Which other trainer has a fighter making moves like that?

What Yarde learned tonight can only be learned in the ring under the spotlight. His lack of ring experience let him down at world level. It had nothing to do with his trainer.

He should have been matched tougher in the 12 months before this fight so that he could figure out where his stamina and chin are at. Gym stamina is different to fight stamina. That's why David Price always gasses.

That lies with Frank Warren and tbf, also with Tunde because he is Yardes manager too. But Tunde doesn't get the whole blame for this loss, it's not fair.

He shouldn't get the whole blame but I think the whole boxing world has an issue with his methods, not just people on here.

The lack of sparring, the lack of advice in the corner, the lack of quality opps, etc aren't just things you can easily overlook.

People seem to see a lot in Yarde's potential and wonder if he could actually reach it with the unorthodox style of Tunde.

A lot of trainers get criticized. It's not like Tunde is the first.

Exactly right here, Redd. Tunde is one of them typically deluded people who think they are 1000 times better than what they are. Yarde has the talent to be really special, but never will be if he sticks with the fool.

A great coach now could get 20 % more out of Yarde that what's there now, with Tunde, he will stay the same. He did well to hang with Kov, yesterday, but he is 70% of what he was from the Andre Ward fight 1.

I think Yarde, with better development and training over the past couple of years would have beaten last nights version of Kovalev who whilst still very good is a bit shot now.

Does AY at least skip rope? I know everybody talks about his massive upper body but I noticed that his footwork or his feet were just very heavy. So if you don't run and don't skip rope how are you going to deal with a jabber who goes in and out then circles away and repeats the same thing for 12 rounds?
