Tunde Ajayi post fight (delusional) interview

Tunde interview, there's a lot to unpack here

2:24: "We've never been in that situation, it was a first time for us, it was kind of weird to see Anthony tired"

Sparring would have shown you that

Immediately after: "Jabs don't make you tired"

    Tell Anthony that

3:36: "Anthony showed a lot of heart"

Yeah in the 9th he pointed to his heart more then he threw punches

5:55: "Is there anything you would change in your training methods?" "NO!"

Anthony gassed after the 5th round dude

6:08: "We all know Sergey's got a good jab. The plan for us going in was to pull that jab, pull counter."

We can really tell how well Yarde practiced that pull counter

6:53: "He was making Sergey miss!"

Compubox says Sergey landed 33% of his total punches

9:02: "In the 9th round he just used his skill level to dodge punches."

9:12: "The 10th round from what I can reckon, I'm going to go back and look at the tape, was an even round."

I'd really like to sit with Tunde and watch him try and explain to me why the 10th round was an even round.

9:32: "Anthony wasn't getting beaten up in that fight."
9:39: "You ain't...going to stop someone with a jab."

10:57: "In the ring it always shows whether you've been doing the right thing or the wrong thing and tonight Anthony showed he'd been doing the right thing."

    Eating jabs all night?

Yarde's talented but he'll never grow with his current team. These clowns are gonna forever hold him back

      Tunde is full of excrement

Started reading up on Tunde before this fight and the guy is on some pretty good chit
His way is totally off pattern and doesn’t really stick
Especially the fact of almost no sparring at all is fughin beyond me
The video proves he’s on some good chit
Gotta get me a number for his dealer

Yarde would benefit extremely by getting himself s real trainer , did not bad for a guy with under 30 fights his whole career ( pro and amateur )

        Sorry but not sorry!

Yarde needs to leave this fool alone!

It’s one thing to be always positive and determined but the right and absolute proven training methods are there to work on fundamentals and conditioning yet to forgoe it for more glory is dangerously ambitious!

Luckily that wasn’t a Prime Kovalev or Yarde would be carried in a stretcher!

The kid got talent, lots of heart, and chin plus speed which is all the things a solid trainer can use to make him much better!

To nearly beat an elite level fighter even past his prime with minuscule experience and unproven training methods is remarkable honestly!

Tunde will be Yarde’s downfall man smh

He needs to learn how to get inside for a start, AY's shoulder roll isnt going to walk down a tall boxer with a good strong jab. He needs to keep his hands up and move his head, he did his best work inside.

This Tunde guy is full of chit.

He said that 12 months training under him is equal to 5 years training under someone else...

Kovalev has a VERY good jab, and Yarde did an excellent job of of blocking it all night...with his face.

Factor in that Yarde was gassed completely after 5 rounds, has no control of distance and no inside game at all and its no surprise he won just 2 rounds.

All you need to put is Tunde interview as a title you already know its going to be utterly delusional. I like Yarde he has potential but he needs to drop this fool like a bad habit.

Stopped at “i dont believe we need to go back to the drawing board”. This guy is a problem, his pride and ego is a danger to Yarde.

He attached his star to a very athletic and explosive kid who would have gotten this far under any number of trainers. I wonder how far Yarde could have gone had he had someone teach him the fundamentals of boxing.

How old is Yarde now? I mean I don’t want to call him a kid but he has been taken advantage of, he really has a motivational fool as a trainer. This guy was chatting [I][I]shit all week, about how it’s him and Yarde in the ring together, mate when the bell rang you were taking any punches nor were you throwing any, talking about Yarde’s face off was his (Tunde) face off etc

He has allowed his own ego to take over Yarde progress, Tunde thinks playing the heel as a trainer is the way forward, you can do that in football when you are the manager but in boxing your fighter would get their heads carved in. This is why ex-boxer who knew Tunde are going in on him.
