Tunde has done a good job.

It's Warren who has failed to provide Yarde with the correct fights to get him the experience he needed at this level.

That didn't help Yarde obviously, but I see plenty of holes in what Tunde is saying even if ultimately I like Tunde.

I mean what f#cking trainer says they never seen there fighter tired going into a world title fight ffs. You aren't pushing your guy enough if you never seen him tired. Its hard to know how much physical damage your fighter can take cuz you aren't ever going to see that but on fight night & a bad fight night at that, but not knowing what your fighter looks like on E wind-wise going into this caliber a fight at this point in his career is a massive hole in Tunde's "system". Tunde likely bares the most blame for this lose. By most accounts Yarde did better than most experts predicted & even Dre is saying he was 2 or 3 punches from winning by KO despite his trainer who's not pushing him hard enough in training & his promoter who's cleverly matchmaking for him.

Yarde did well. Lost, did well.

Tunde though....if you love your man as you say, you would have pulled him out after 10. But when you've talked in the build up, seems you lose the ability to make a sensible decision. His system failed, he failed. Not Yarde's fault though, credit

Why does he need a new trainer because he lost to an ATG LHW in just his 18th pro fight?

I'd like to see a few tweaks his footwork and foot placement is pretty abysmal and novicey, he doesn't really much of a jab either but he's still young with time on his side.

I don't feel Tunde or whatever has done a bad job at all, they can take a lot away from tonight and come again.

Kovalev maybe old and not as dynamic as he once was but he's a lot smarter and still a bad mofo

He needs a new trainer because all of the things you mentioned, Tunde doesn't teach. Instead he tells him how great he is and how tired his opponent is.

You dont spar.

You use a shoulder roll defense horribly.

You are flat footed.

You block jabs with your face.

You have very poor conditioning.

Lets go to Russia and fight a seasoned World champion who has been in with the very best.

I'd argue he doesn't even USE the shoulder roll defense. He just uses the stance.

The issue yarde has is, all the tippy teapot padwork seriously doesn’t work on fight night,it’s like a dance routine the more you practice it you’ll perfect it
Any time kov throw a second and third punch it generally landed becatanthony could block it.
