I'd like to see a few tweaks his footwork and foot placement is pretty abysmal and novicey, he doesn't really much of a jab either but he's still young with time on his side.

I don't feel Tunde or whatever has done a bad job at all, they can take a lot away from tonight and come again.

Kovalev maybe old and not as dynamic as he once was but he's a lot smarter and still a bad mofo

Classic case of kicking a guy when he's down
That's what I don't understand about these idiots. Every time a boxer loses, it's always about changing the trainer without context.

Yarde didn't even fight poorly in that fight. His conditioning was just poor and his inexperience also cost him in the championship rds. Apart from that, it was a solid performance. And he would've nicked it if he didn't punch himself out in the 8th rd.

Even for the sake of talking: which new trainer is going to help him? The best trainer that would most likely fit his style is Adam Booth. And we all saw how Josh Kelly got battered in New York by a boxer who's just slightly above average. Why didn't Adam Booth do anything?

    Who else is there?

And were do you think the conditioning and inexperience comes from?

      Lack of sparing.
Inexperience? THAT IS WTF YOU HAVE A GOOD COACH FOR!

Just look at what Buddy did vs Tunde. lol

Buddy told Kovalev exactly what to do during the rounds and told him exactly what he needed to hear to wake his ass up.

      What did Tunde do?

He kept his mouth shut or screamed "Lions in the camp." lol.

That's their method even if it's unorthodox and it has worked for them thus far until tonight. Lomachenko and his trainers also have unorthodox methods, why didn't people tell him to change his trainer after he lost to Salido?

The guy had only 19 amateur fights and 18 pro fights and he fought the best LW in the last 10 years in his backyard. Obviously, he's going to be inexperience. And who know what affected his conditioning? Different time zone and weather? First time ever going past 8 rds? They can always fix that.

All I know is that - he travelled all the way to Russia with no British fans to face a killer in his backyard and he gave a good account of himself. None of the bums posted on this thread fought anyone on that level and they have never even travelled to that part of the world to face a bum. And these idiots lost multiple times on British soil to average boxers. So, they're not qualified to speak. It's above their pay grade.

Why is this 40-yr old nonce laughing?

You're 40 - act your age and be supportive of young guys excelling in life. This nonce did the same with AJ and he's doing the same thing now. Your life must be so miserable for you to find joy whenever you see people fail.

              What an idiot.

Yarde showed he belongs at world level in this fight, he was probably a few clean shots from dropping and maybe stopping Kovalev at one point, similar to how Ortiz almost had Wilder out. It's difficult to say whether he would have got to this level without Tunde in only 30 fights as an amateur and pro combined. Some boxers just click with certain trainers.. Fury and Davison, Pac and Roach, Lewis and Steward, Tyson and Cus.. Yarde isn't the complete package yet but he's gone very far in very few fights. He must be the most inexperienced world level boxer on earth?

Tunde has done a good job.

It's Warren who has failed to provide Yarde with the correct fights to get him the experience he needed at this level.

You never fought more than 8 rounds.

                      You dont spar.

You use a shoulder roll defense horribly.

                      You are flat footed.

You block jabs with your face.

                      You have very poor conditioning.

Lets go to Russia and fight a seasoned World champion who has been in with the very best.

                      Lions in the camp!
