No he’s not. He’s almost 37 and age is catching up. But not shot.

I know. It's the reason why Canelo wants to face him next instead of GGG. He knows it's an easy fight.

He just beat Yarde. Avenged a loss to Alvarez. Kovalev is still a monster just some what faded.

kovalev still has the power to KO a strong LHW with a jab...

Kov's demise is being exaggerated. Having a weakness doesn't mean everyone will be able to exploit it enough to get the victory. Let's quit acting like the rest of the LHW titlists are gonna run him over. Luckily for Kov, he won't have to deal with the loser of Gvozdyk/Beterbiev. The next fight should be Kov/Bivol. Bivol is obviously the fresher fighter and is pretty consistent, but he hasn't really shown a second or third gear yet. Kov has shown that he can be hurt and that he can recover if you don't finish him. Bivol still has some things to prove.

Well said...everyone can focus on Kov's 'vulnerabilities' now since he has been in the spotlight for so long...once the other top guys at LHW fight each other or Kov surely they will show some signs of mortality as well.

canelo is just doing what floyd did for most of his career. this kovalev that went 1-1 against alvarez and was almost ko'd by yarde wouldnt be that highly sought after but kovalev has that name value
