Floyd picks Duran apart. Duran Had a loss prior to SRL. Floyd didn’t have any losses prior or after Castillo. Duran was a pressure fighter who loved the inside. Floyd excelled at neutralizing Pressure fighters AND fighting on the inside. In his PBF days he was a pressure fighter himself he used to always cut the ring off. He would’ve been too fast, too slick, too smart for Duran. Chavez was gifted in a few fights Floyd beats him no question he’s beaten better. Hearns was the weakest link out the four and it’s laughablr to think he’d beat Floyd. Not 07, not 09, not ‘15 Floyd. SRL would put on a good fight but Floyd has him on the inside. SRL was not as skilled as Floyd on the inside. Simply watching their respective fights should make it clear. Duran already showed how to cut the ring off on him.
Let's not forget that Castillo will likely never get into the HOF. He's Chavez's sparring partner. The fact that he troubled Floyd looks bad on Floyd, period. Duran, Chavez, Pryor, Leonard would have no issues beating Castillo.

      Let’s not forget:
Castillo was the wbc champion at Light. He’ll certainly get HoF status. That was Floyd’s first fight at that weight and he took the toughest champion. Had trouble the first fight- with a messed up shoulder and smoked Castillo in the second fight.
Now let’s look at Duran: Had trouble with plenty of guys before he fought SRL and actually managed to lose to one by the name of Esteban De Jesus. Castillo would’ve beaten him if it was his first fight at Light.
SRL would’ve struggled same way he struggled and actually lost to Duran.
Chavez is irrelevant here and out of context.
Pryor would’ve won just like injured Floyd won. In a close fight.

Really enjoy Breadman's take on the current scene and upcoming fights. I rarely disagree with what he says and often find his insights to provide an angle I hadn't previously thought of.

I disagree that Hearns could have split fights with Golovkin though. A prime Golovkin would have steamrollered Hearns at MW, his punch power & chin would have been too much.

Castillo is a journeyman. The fact that Floyd was troubled at all by him looks bad on Floyd. All this talk about "Floyd is undefeated" means nothing when most HOF fighters could beat those same guys. Guys like Victor Ortiz, Castillo, Robert Guerrero, and Corrales wouldn't have even held titles in the 80's.

Maidana and JLC - NOT ATGs - earned split decision losses and/or draws to be fair. One can make a case JLC won that first fight too

Duran and JCC would be interesting with prime 135 Floyd

More baseless statements while ignoring that you’re bringing up guys who lost to nobodies and struggled with nobodies? You’re going in circles and you have a clear agenda at this point

                1. The butt kissing just to get an email read must stop! Geez.

                2. I disagree with the Steve “What You Talkin Bout” Willis take.

He is an attention-seeking referee. Whether it be the faces he makes suing the fights or the latest video FROM HIS JOB he shot. The video was out of line. He’s not a damn doctor nor a celebrity.

He’s a a joke. Such a clown. The best part is that he's recorded that BS at work! Someone is paying him to con them!

                Only in America...

One of my favorite Ring magazine editions is the one of the 10 guys who would have beaten Mayweather. I agreed with 7 of the 10.Wish I hadn't dumped that copy, but Duran would've been too much for May.May wouldn't quit and it'd be a good fight because May does have heart, but the relentless pressure Duran would bring to bear would be too much over a 15 round fight.Leonard wins too, because he can do what May does and with power.Hearns with his jab alone would win and May's cautious nature unlike Leonard's, wouldn't allow him to risk trying to get inside the jab for fear of being KO'd.But in order to win, being the much smaller man he would have to.

Me too, I remember watching "Motor City" when I was a kid. I felt like he was so damn good but fought during a time when you had to be great to grab the belt. I enjoyed his fight against ODLH. He was simply outgunned but went out on his shield.
