More important than your height is your weight. If you're 5'10 and weigh 135lbs your reach of 68" is more than sufficient. If you are a heavyweight...well, that's different.

Too short reach?

A short wingspan might not be a problem if you have narrow shoulders, like Lomachenko. Also, good technique will mitigate a reach disadvantage, if there is one. And failing anything else, watch Duran on repeat and become a great inside fighter

Thurman said Pacquiao had t-rex arms. Looked what happened.
It's about knowing how to get inside and using angles/footwork to make it happen. The benefits are there also with the short arms. Less travel distance. So if you can get inside, you got a lot going for you.

All in fun. Just work hard, worry about improving your skills, use what you got to your best, and good luck!
We jokingly called a guy on my amateur team T-Rex too. I got lucky being 6'4 with an 81" reach.
to the OP. Reach isn't everything. Learn to fight on the inside, work on your footwork and countering. Ruiz just made Joshua his ***** with an 8 inch reach disadvantage. Guys who rely soley on their reach usually do so because they need to.Last edited by _Rexy_; 08-24-2019, 07:22 AM.
