Crawford is in desperation mode right now. He can't get a big name opponent, and he is bitter that Manny left TR and that fight will not happen. At least not until he can get a fight with Spence first. Lets not kid ourselves, when Bud fought Horn, that was a premature stoppage. Byrd is a complete incompetent as a ref. I'm not saying Horn would have had a chance to win, but he wasn't hurt at the time of the stoppage. We also cannot dismiss the fact that both Bud and Horn walk around as Cruiserweights and enter the ring as LHWs for their "welterweight" fights.

You mean boxers weight more during their off times? Shocking. At what weight do cruiserweight walk around? Besides, shouldn't they be aplauded for fighting in such a drained state?

I had Pac winning barely, he definitely took Jeff Horn lightly while Horn and his corner were fighting their career best. iirc most of the fight was Manny tepidly fighting for 2 minutes then trying to steal the round with a final minute of activity and flurries while Horn fought all 3 minutes of the round.

So-called "dirty" tactics are a thing, and as Paulie said, all that matters is learning what the ref will let you get away with. If they let you get away with it, it's legal. So you as a fighter need to do something about it instead of whine.
Never seen that Gainer-Norwood fight, will have to look it up.
I get what you're saying about learning the ref's tolerance though. You get the same sort of thing in all walks of life, most people will test the boundaries of laws/regulations at some point; even "good" people will carry on doing things they know are wrong if they're not punished for it.

Crawford is always hating on Pacquiao like a NSB poster. He never gives credit to him for anything. I wonder why he diikes Manny? I think it’s a race thing. Plus he’s friends with Bradley whom Manny whopper 3 times so that’s probably a chip on his shoulder.
Agreed. Bud knows that Horn didn't beat Manny but by saying that he beat a guy that Manny didn't, it makes him feel better about his legacy knowing he will never face another elite fighter. It's pretty clear to me that he's willingly ducking Spence.

So, does that mean that you thought Horn did beat Manny?

I had horn winning. Just because he isn't popular doesn't mean he loses every close round.
