This was the rumor that was going around his advisers at the time in the Philippines, so when the Crawford v Horn fight was set and Arum wanted Manny to "co promote" (aka be the undercard) Pacquiao balked and that's what made him decide to walk away.

His wife apparently no longer wanted anything to do with Arum because she always believed also that the first Bradley fight was rigged also and she noticed a pattern.
