Styles make fights, no Carlos does not have the style of the bum John Ruiz and the speed and power is totally different at Heavyweight.

People are on Baldomir's sack at the moment, and why? I honestly don't know. If you truly take the time to analyze what he's done you'll see that he's a decent fighter but nothing spectacular. He's got slow hand speed, slow foot speed, a pretty good chin and a pretty good punch. There is nothing outstanding about him except general demeanor as an all around good guy.

Carlos should get the respect he's earned... which is that of a decent champion. But make no mistake, he's nothing special. I had no interest in seeing Baldomir/Floyd but now I welcome in simply so I can laugh at the ridiculous UD decision floyd scores along the lines of 120-108.

Also, regardless of how I feel about that article, making a joke about it because he uses his formal title as doctor is laughable. He's earned it, he can use it as he pleases. I know I'd use it all the ****ing time if I earned a doctorate.

I'm not defending the article. I'm making a counterpoint to your absolutely ridiculous claims. Also, guess what, Gatti has a gigantic heart but that didn't mean he won all of his fights. Mickey Ward might have a huge heart but he didn't win all of his fights. Heart is a good thing, but it doesn't somehow magically give you the tools to beat the best p4p fighter in the sport.

Just to note I'm not making a joke of his title whatsoever, but I wouldn't use the title because I think it is irrelevant. This is an early HYPE. Has the fight been arranged? Has documents been signed?

It's obvious that PBF has the advantage in over all skills over Baldy but you don't count this guy out just like that. There are a lot of factors that comes into play.

Like who has Pbf fought at this weight class? Baldy is a legititmate welter who has a big heart and good trainer and it's not impossible that Baldy and his team can device a good fight plan to neutralize what ever Pbf's advantages were.

Baldy doesn't have a one punch K.O. capability but just the same as PBF. But with a legitimate welter and guy who came from the lower weight class, it's not that hard to guess who's gonna have a heavier punch.
