Damn shame Bud resigned with TR. He will have a lot of regrets when his career is over. At 31 years old, he still doesn’t have that prolific defining victory over an elite fighter. Arum probably lied to him about getting the big fights. And with the $3 mill he makes per fight, he’s probably content. But still no legacy fight. Maybe Haymon will agree for him to fight Ugas, Lipinet, or Danny Garcia. But if he doesn’t get a big fight by spring if next year, he should really try to buy out his contract.

Has Ugas ever made anywhere close to 2 mill a fight? The fact that you would have to overpay a guy who has no fanbase with multiple losses just to entice him to fight for a world title because of who manages him shows how absurd this all is. Ugas arguably beat Porter so at least hes a quality opponent. If Derevyanchenko is making 5 million for a fight, giving Ugas 2 or 3 million doesn't seem so crazy.

Danny is a big name, bigger than anything Crawford can get on his side of the street. Crawford would do a number on him I'm sure which is why Garcia won't take anything short of astronomical cash for the fight.

Every time Bud fight they lose money..especially if it's not pay per view...3mill they have to give him... 10000 people in Nebraska that is 300 a ticket just to pay him. Not counting promotional cost, announcers, judges...that's why he will only fight twice this year and will be a lesser opponent... cant keep taking losses

I watched this guy's last fight, on ESPN. He got outboxed by Ray Robinson, and escaped with a draw...imagine what Crawford would do to him.
