I mean I guess Zab wants to fight him now but that is only because he is pathetic and has no options. Shane still doesn't want him and well we have argued about Floyd forever so I just won't say anything. But seriously, if one ducked then they all ducked. And frankly the money aspect is not very convincing to me. Yes Floyd has made comments about wanting to make $, but he already has a lot of $ and I don't see his bank account closing anytime soon.
as a boxing fan "Floyd's " bank account shouldnt concern you. Seeing quality fights where the best fighters take on each other should. He has no opponent yet. Everybody else said NO and he was offered the biggest payday of his career..so he is without an excuse.

    ducked

      ducked
******. This post right here, by accident, shows your bias hatered towards Floyd. There are tons of fights that as fans we weant to see between certain fighters... but here you are, page after page, just pointing out ones you think FLoyd should take.

You like Hatton, right? Why not get on his balls and call him a coward because he's ducked the rematch Collazo wants, and should get?

        ducked
I understand your point and I could care less about his finances. I was just pointing out that from Floyd's perspective its not like this is his one and only chance at a big payday. Plus there is still the likely possibility that he fights Baldomir and that was still hanging in the balance when the Margarito fight was offered. Plus if you look at my post I was just saying that if Floyd is ducking then so are Shane and Zab.

i agree Hatton SHOULD fight Callozo again especially after he said he would and the fight was so controversial.

this thread is about Floyd not Hatton.. if you start one about Hatton i will..what makes you think I like hatton?

i think floyd would crush hatton. you dont know me...

He speaks the truth... I have seen him actually post that he thinks Floyd would crush Hatton. But Charlie, this is about ducking fighters not about beating fighters. I think all of us agree that Floyd COULD beat Margarito (or lose) but that isn't what we are debating.

right, I don't think Marg would crush Floyd or vice versa,, I feel that it is the BEST welterweight fight out there..because despit Floyds skills
Marg poses a huge risk. I think Floyd feels the same. IF Floyd got KO'd by Marg in the first round I would respect him for taking on a tough challenged. Instead of calling out Dela(past his prime promoter)just to make more millions..

              • If you really wanted the best fights, you'd tell Mayweather to move back down to Light Welter where he's better suited to fight and take a piece of hatton or cotto at that weight.

I can't find fault in anything you are saying and I KNOW DLH is past his prime. Nonetheless you wouldn't rate a past his prime DLH at 154 as a bigger threat than Margarito at 147? I see DLH as a bigger risk because of the weight gain... Floyd already looks maxed out at 147. On the other hand, I see Margarito as a possibly dangerous opponent... like you say any time you have KO power like that you always have a chance to win.

but he is not at light welter...if he was i would be knocking Marg for calling out a light welterweight..

im pretty sure they would be fighting at a catch weight,,between welter and jr middle.
