Fury was very elusive in the first fight. But he sure wasn't very effective in countering. Wilder landed 17% of his punches and Fury landed 26% and only 13 more punches the entire 12 round fight. Squeaked out rounds that he "won" by 1 or 2 punches in 7 rounds. Against a guy as inaccurate as Wilder was, he should have been tattooing him with counters. If Wilder hadn't gotten those knockdowns his performance would have been jokingly abysmal with all the missing he did, but I may be in the minority in saying Fury's performance wasn't good either. Make 'em miss and make 'em pay... for the most part Fury forgot the second part of that saying. I hope he does a whole lot more if it gets to the cards in the rematch. Fury is always a lot more pleased with his performance in bigger fights than I think he should be ...e.g. the Klitchko victory which is a candidate for the worst hw title fight in history - total slopfest.

I pull for both. I would dearly love to see both fight AJ and both KO his ass!

But I have to agree with Fury. Boxing is corrupt, the Judging is Sick and HAS BEEN FOR A LONG TIME!!

There must be wins and then when Fury and Wilder get on there must be a KO

I like Fury and Fury in the rematch but he claimed he's going to have full faith in the judges to score the fight correctly in the rematch but here he's saying a win isn't possible on the cards ? His constant lying is why he's not my favorite heavyweight , following him and things he states is a major headache , I stopped awhile back.

We'll see. Anyone can get knocked out if they tire themselves out going for the KO and get hit enough times consistently while doing so. People said the same thing about Ali against Foreman. If Fury has the perfect game plan and is able to sit down on his punches a little more without getting caught, it could get very interesting.

That's what I was thinking as well. Some fans here are so blinded by their unwavering obsession/loyalty to one boxer that they can't view things even remotely objectively or take in all possible outcomes.

Don't put so much emphasis on talk. Talk is cheap and Fury does a lot of it. The only thing that matters is what happens in the ring.

They all lie to the press. Both Wilder and Joshua have contradicted themselves multiple times in the same interview. Who gives a damn? Other than you that is. Maybe you should watch a soap opera instead of boxing because you seem more concerned with what is said between fights than what actually happens in a fight. Typical millennial PC thug behavior.

So much hate from "fans" of the pretenders/wannabes. Fury vs. Wilder II, the biggest rivalry of this generation. Whatever happens, I am just happy that we get to see the best fight the best.
