LOL yea solid point there. Plus I think the UFC has a massive advantage learning from boxing mistakes. And I believe they've mentioned the things boxing does wrong are things they tried to make right in the UFC.

MMA does seem to have better third party commentary and analysis though IMO. Maybe I'm missing some but why does half the boxing channels of YouTube, especially US ones are like budget as hell.
Thats a good f#cking question & idek the answer or got much of a theory with that.

Having most if not all the Top MMA Fighters under one Brand HELPS! Boxing is so Scattered around. You literally have to Chase Down Fights on Different Apps and Networks and no Casual Fan is going to chase down a Sport they're not all that much of a fan of to begin with

Also a huge Social Media Presence and great fan interaction compared to boxing

UFC has done things in a shorter period of time that boxing still haven't and if you been in boxing for a long time as a promoter or whateever, you should look over to the UFC and feel a bit disappointed with your sport...

Well, the UFC is one league. In boxing, promoters will promote their main fighters on a fight by fight basis for the most part. It’s much different.

MMA is exciting, no one wants to see the art of boxing anymore. People want to see blood and KOs. They get that from the UFC. No one has the attention span to watch a 12 round fight anymore. Non championship fights are 3 5min rounds. You get lots of action in those 3 rounds.

You also have one org that's big and the best fights are made without much drama. Boxing has too many hands in the pot.

          Things need to change.

Only time I see casuals talk about MMA is when one of Ronda, McGregor, or Jon Jones is involved. Rest of the time it's as relevant as boxing.

The UFC has a lot more money to put into advertisement. On a PPV card, the UFC will take 80% of the revenue. The fighters get 20%. Part of that 80% goes into promotion of following events.

UFC doesn't even really have PPV anymore. Last night's fight was freaking stacked and it was on ESPN plus. I can promise you if newbs were watching they're now fans. Not only was it stacked but it delivered.

The best usually fight the best and a loss doesn’t hurt as much as in boxing. You can dtill get big fights after losing which s why there’s more risk taking as well.

The UFC is a brand and it sells off that while in boxing you sell off individual stars. Now, obviously bigger stars in the UFC do bigger PPV numbers and that goes without saying. But the UFC does like 12 PPVs a year and even some of their lower level PPVs end up doing over 250k buys. In boxing, you just hope to get to a number like that. I mean from Ward/Kovalev I and II to GGG vs Lemieux to GGG vs Jacobs to Crawford vs Khan, none of those fights surpassed the 200k buys range. And those fights consisted of fighters that all did good numbers on HBO and were at the top of the P4P lists.

If anyone listened to Mannix's podcast with White, you heard on multiple occasions White talking about the importance of building a brand and how that lacks in boxing. The UFC is even able to sell TUF and all other extra stuff they do.

Of course the UFC having nearly 85-90% of the best fighters in the world helps. Boxing is completely fragmented and while there is more boxing on TV than ever before, that's not necessarily a good thing. The quality has gone down with the amount of fight cards there are now a days.

Pretty sure that is not correct, I thought it was on ESPN+ AND PPV, so you need an ESPN+ subscription and you have to buy the PPV to see the main card.

Its like they took the worst of dazn and showtime and mixed it together.
