Actually its not that hard to believe when you look at the facts. Especially if we're going with notion that Joshua after turning down a voluntary title shot with wilder to instead fight Martin, breazeale, and molina was green when he fought wlad. Yet wilder somehow ducked wlad because finkle said there was time to talk unification one week, LITERALLY ONE WEEK!!!!, after wilder won the belt, and wlad already picked Jennings to fight next. Shouldn't be so hard to believe wlad ducked him especially since wlad lost the same year, and picked Joshua to fight later on when the wilder fight was there for him as well. We all remember the i never had the green belt interview and wilder saying come get it right??? Instead he picks Joshua. So.....yes he ducked wilder.
We see now that Hearn has made an impossible, one sided, shady rematch contract against a replacement opponent that Joshua was a 30-1, 60-1, and in some places 100-1 favorite to beat. Yet it's hard to believe that the " 6-7 offers" from Hearn for a wilder fight was on the up and up. Somehow wilder "ducked" because he didnt sign this shady contract??? Also the offer wilder made to Joshua would have been shown to Hearn had he agreed to the money split of 50m and 50/50 of the revenue. All hearn had to do was say yes to the money, then plans get made and contracts are drawn up. Its not rocket science.
So when you look at the facts, and not twist them to fit your agenda.......YES.......they both ducked wilder.

Lol. They dont seem to get just how aj is viewed in boxing now. Especially in America. This "superstar" scrapped a date at Wembley to come to America and ride off backs of wilder and fury for the fight they gave us dec 1st. Go back and look at the fights between AJ and Klitschko, Parker, and even Takam hahah. Haymon is trying to build Wilder into a heavyweight superstar... hes a undefeated h.w who brings freak 1 punch ko power... thats what h.w boxing needs and brings in casual fans... Ruiz doesnt bring that... he stopped Joshua but he wasnt generally known as a k.o artist. So based on that... he would favour wilder over ruiz.

What Ruiz brings is something different and maybe more lucrative than Wilder’s freak power.

Ruiz brings, inadition to a Mexican fan base, the Everyman fan base. Joe Schmoe looking up from his sofa over the top of his mega bag of chip, finally sees an athlete his fat azz can identify with.
Also, Ruiz is probably the most technically proficient fighter in the hw division. It’s a pleasure to see that fat man work behind a good jab and effectively counter the offense of fighters who are taller, longer and physically much more impressive.
