Originally posted by DaNeutral. View PostWell yeah it is that hard for me to believe, We all heard what Winkle said about Deontay being just a baby and there was no rush to put him in with Wlad. Black and white clear as day. Wilder has also turned down 6 or 7 different offers from Team Joshua and has come back with only 1 offer and then they still refused to share the terms or conditions of deal rendering the whole offer dead in the water. And to top if off Wilder TILL THIS DAY, has not managed to earn more from a fight than the 1st of Joshua's so called Lowball offers. Most Wilder made from 1 fight was 10 million from the Breazeale fight and Joshua's first and worst lowball offer was for more than that.
Its not impossible for me to believe a couple of china chinned fighters would want to duck a huge puncher but not when it comes down to Wilder, Wlad and Joshua and especially when all the 1st paragraph i wrote is undeniable facts. To me it was Wilder ducking both those guys.
As far as AJ you’re not speaking all facts. Hearn was provided an offer with details via email. AJ turned down $50M with a 50/50 split because he didn’t want to fight in the US. Meanwhile he got beat up in the us for less money than the wilder offer. I truly believe before wilder v fury AJ had no intentions of fighting wilder.

You'd think it was Somalia or Afghanistan the way this clown was going on. It's obvious that these guys got their perception of the entire middle east from playing Call of Duty levels. Sure, it's a regressive regime in many different ways, but as a straight male basically none of it applies to him. You say you can't bring your women? So? What business do your women have in your training camp or preparations anyway? If it's such a big deal just leave them at home or let them stay in the Riyadh Ritz Carlton until you leave. It's not even like it's an issue if they're prepared to stick to the dress code and act respectably in public. My mother did it for over ten years without issue, and this was back before the year 2000 when it was way more regressive than it is now. Besides, you think that the Saudi government are going to try and pull any nonsense when they're reliant on being best buddies with the Trump administration?
Honestly my respect for Ruiz is waning rapidly over this, he got a lucky break in getting a chance to win those titles and really made the most of it, but all this pissing and whining and digging his heels in isn't respectable behaviour befitting of the champion. The fans have had enough of being strung along by flaky fighters and promoters, especially when it comes to heavyweights. The last thing anyone wants is yet another joker doing yet more of the same. If the contract that was signed the first time around clearly gave the right of deciding the location of the rematch to Joshua's side, then Ruiz doesn't have a leg to stand on - he can defend his belts like a man or get stripped and also probably sued.
I never thought I'd go to bad for Joshua and Hearn but honestly I'm tired of getting jerked around. Just take the goddamn fight already and stop wasting everybody's time.
This entire comment is beyond ignorant. Who cares if they have a few fancy buildings? Saudi Arabia has incredibly oppressive laws that should have never made it this far in history. Just because a straight male will not be as affected by them, they're OK?!?!? are you f&cking kidding me? Who cares if they beat or incarcerate my sister or mom for being SLIGHTLY underdressed in 100 degree weather, as long as I am ok right? Absolutely pathetic, weak minded mentality. There is an ENTIRE WORLD to experience, why would you voluntarily go give your hard earned money to such a repressive government? If tourism grows in those countries, they will grow emboldened and further their laws. They are obviously desperate for tourists and the world's respect. In retrospect, most of the modern world is desperate to see them end their medieval laws and give their people religious and individual freedoms.
Let me guess, you'd be totally ok with having this fight in Burma right? I mean, who cares if they are actively ethnically cleansing the ****** population through genocide, they have beautiful beaches, amirite?
Oppressive regimes should NEVER be tolerated. Not speaking out against them is the same as advocating for them. Saudi Arabia is actively bombing Yemen with zero discretion, killing and maiming the civilian population.
Eddie Hearn is clown POS for trying to take this fight there, and any AJ fan supporting this is just as much an imbecile.
There is a reason that there are no fights in Mexico City by Mexican champions, there is massive corruption there as well. Fans and fighters understand and can respect this notion. Yet, here we are, trying to smooth over the reputation of a CLEAR tyrannical state because "Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn will not be told what to do". Damn clowns are the ones that pushed for the fight in NYC. Ruiz showed up on last minute terms and handled his job. Run it back in MSG, it's more European than it is Mexican anyways.

Seriously lol They have not produced one champion, and are asking for this major event? Eddie Hearn should be arrested in Saudi Arabia for doing drugs. Let's have him tell us how wonderful it is then.

Lol, Is Saudi Arabia becoming the new mecca of boxing?
Floyd posted a video of himself going on a trip to Saudi Arabia to discuss the Mayweather-Pacquiao rematch there.
First Khan vs. Dib, then Ruiz vs. Joshua 2 and now Mayweather vs. Pacquiao 2
