I can assure you that young lion would not fight Kovalev, not even at this stage and that bs Kovalev is old is just that BS. I don't see anybody else calling him out other than Canelo, not GGG, not Andrade, Jacobs or Billy Juice Saunders or any of the guys at 168 or 175.

He signed to the same network with Andrade and has been avoiding that fight for years. He got beat by Floyd and almost got beat by Lara. A Slick Black Fighter like Android is canelo's Kryptonite and he knows it. Jacobs would not be able to touch Andrade.

Canelo is not the obstacle to fights with Andrade and Charlo. He gets paid the same no matter who he fights. The biggest stumbling block is DAZN. It is only in the last few weeks that they approved Andrade, one of their own. The likelihood that DAZN approved Charlo at this point approaches zero.

Who knows for sure why Canelo would rather fight Kovalev than Andrade? I don't know for certain, but Kovalev is known internationally and Andrade is much less known in this country than Kovalev, let alone around the world. Few middleweights have been able to win a light heavyweight championship. I believe Bernard Hopkins might be the only one to do so. Those might be motivations, but I don't really know. As to your second point, boxers used to fight much more often than once or twice a year. Two fights within three months should not be a big deal for Kovalev.
