Canelo has made it clear this is the fight he's wanted but Kovalev team priced themselves out because they didn't want to pay all the money out of pocket to Yarde and multiple promoters to step aside. Makes sense once the mandatory is out the way financially the fight should be easy to make. But it's a risky fight and if Kovalev loses to Yarde it could end up being one of the dumbest decisions to turn down the canelo fight in Sept in hopes of getting more money in Nov/Dec.
