In professional boxing there is no such thing as a lucky punch.

This proves Joshua's lack of intelligence.

He is a dummy, and actually starting to sound as deluded as Khan does.

The punch BJ landed that knocked Ruiz down was more of a lucky punch than Ruiz’s punch. Ruiz’s punch was years of gym work.

He lost because his stamina was crap and after hitting Ruiz with his best shot Ruiz just looked angry and not at all hurt.

If he's going to win the rematch, and I think he can, he better face reality.

He'd have to specify which of the hundreds punches landed was the lucky one.

He was aiming for you so it weren't lucky. Ruiz has koed many and what is likelihood it was lucky? Koing opponents is what ruiz d oes. And Josh would be first ruiz opponent to say it was lucky..
Just make sure he don't beat you again

I think so too. He had just been dropped on his a55 just before he landed a temple shot that pretty much set things in motion. I will call it a fluke until proven otherwise.

That makes no sense as Ruiz's shot landed on the temple and not square on the fkn jaw like AJ's. Very poor logic there.

Of course there is. Nobody is saying that it's luck that a fighter lands a punch that they intended to throw, but there is definitely some luck involved in how it lands, where it lands, exactly when it lands and how much damage it does. That's why some fighters who knock out their opponents get dominated in rematches from time to time.

A fine example of that is the Cassius Clay vs. Liston rematch. That punch should have never knocked out a man like Liston but somehow it did. That was definitely luck if it wasn't a payoff of course.

If the temple shot was so debilitating, how is it that Joshua actually won rounds after the "lucky punch" landed? I mean other than looking exhausted, did anyone notice a problem, like maybe with his balance? I did not.
