That Lennox who fought McCall at age 29 would've been chewed and destroyed by AJ. He was wild, poor, and he kept dropping his right every time he threw his jab. Emanuel Steward definitely saved Lennox and even with that he was boring as hell. He was the Wlad before Wlad, with jab jab grab and uppercut. And the only time he came out to fight against Ray Mercer - his two eyes were badly swollen and that fight could've gone either way.

Just rewatching the Ray Mercer fight since it's similar based on height and reach difference when compared to Ruiz and AJ - I don't think Lennox has anything to teach AJ. He had by far the reach advantage and Mercer out-jabbed him all night long and was landing big shots after big shots at will. Both of them were definitely juiced to grill with the amount of punishment they both took in that fight.
