and i thought Ruiz would be a no BS champ. i might even have to root for AJ in the rematch. if Ruiz does not fight he may get sued for all the money he made in the first fight. maybe haymon has a unification with Wilder in the works and that is why the ortiz fight keeps getting pushed back.Comment

If Ruiz refuses to honor the contract, it is unlikely that other promoters would want to work with PBC ever again. This is going to kill Boxing. Ruiz is the favourite in this rematch and I think he should honour the contract he signed. I remember few years back when my American brothers said boxing is dead, Europe venues were selling out. Joshua brought attention back to the heavyweight Boxing scene in the US and you can see this with the purse of fighters that fought Joshua after he became a household name in UK. If this goes to the court, you are about to kill the heavyweight scene again.Comment

A Side Andy talking about the rematch taking place in a New York courtroom where he loses everything. Props to A Side Andy for being the dumbest motha phucka on the planet and losing everything he worked for.Comment

Presumably the Ruiz team are not playing ball and Eddie feels the contract is water tight, so he agrees a fee to hold the rematch in Saudi then threatens court proceeding for the money paid to Ruiz for first fight and loss of earnings (agreed with the Saudis) for rematch.Comment

How do we know what was in the rematch clause ??? None us saw the contract . We can’t assume and we certainly can’t take Eddie Hearn word for it , heck the guy just said a deal was signed , now we come to find out a deal is not signed .Comment
