It's hard to say whether Ruiz is a true star or not. Sure, he's known, but I wonder how many people would turn out to see him fight if it was against a no name. His story is compelling but I'm curious to know if people are more attracted to the story or the fighter. Ruiz should just take the money and secure the fight. Sure, he should get more but he signed the contract knowing what was at stake. Should he win again, he'll command whatever he wants.

None of us know what was in the contract. None of us know what Ruiz should or shouldn't do. The UK fanboys insisting Ruiz should do anything Hearn says don't have enough information about how things are worded or what Ruiz's legal position is to make a judgement.
