Hasim Rahman made $10 million for his rematch with Lennox Lewis. That fight happened in 2001. If you adjust for inflation, Rahman made $14.5 million for that fight in 2019 dollars.

GGG just made $14 million for fighting Steve Rolls. Ruiz is the heavyweight champion for crying out loud.

By the looks of it you don't know what a contract is. He makes nowhere near 9 mil fighting anyone else. He'll e paying Joshua A LOT of money if he doesn't honour the contract. Much more than he will ever make, all that lost revenue.
