    Can Canelo really beat Kovalev?

Listening to Hopkins, it sounds like they're really going to try to make that fight. We all know Kov is weak to the body but he looked pretty good his last time out. If he boxes and doesn't go for broke trying to KO Canelo, idk if he loses that one.....

Anybody ever see a picture of these guys together? Kovalev might be too big.

        Pros:
Kovalev is rather slow. Canelo became elusive, Kovalev will miss a lot
Canelo can take a punch, Kovalev is not really dangerous to him due to this.
        Kovalev's allegedly weak body.

        Contras:

Canelo is flatfooted. That could ruin many of his potential attacks and give rise to many Kovalev's attacks. And if Kovalev is still hungry, that could end in some serious troubles for Canelo..
Kovalev is much bigger. Canelo's punches could mean even less than in ggg's fights..
Kovalev used to have perfect legs. If he kept them, he could hold Canelo on the distance or even run from him all night.

        Resume:

It's clearly depends on Kovalev's condition

I don't think this will even be a option come the morning of Aug. 25, but yea I think Canelo vs Kovalev is like a 70/30 fight Canelo's way. Canelo's got enough elusiveness to keep Kovalev's offense at bay & I don't think Kovalev will wanna hang with Canelo's body shots all night. Canelo likely stops him late or gets a wide decision.

Let's see what Kovalev does with Yarde first. If this was 2013, he'd have Yarde playing twister on the canvas. If that Kovalev doesn't show up, he'd be wise to hang em up.

I’m picking Kov to knock out Canelo but I think Yarde will stop Kovalev!

Canelo has a solid iron chin but let’s see it being put to the test of one of the most hardest punchers in boxing who can also box!

Kov would be wise to box Canelo and not go for the knockout! It will come if he listens to Buddy Mcgirt!

If Canelo beats Kovalev who if he beats Yarde then he’s a clear p4p 1 in my book!

I honestly think he should go after Andrade, yes the fight will likely not be exciting but he can win it and it’s for legacy just as much as Kov!

I think Kovalevs jab will be very difficult for Canelo.

He needs to be in shape and pump that jab all night
