I think I understand pretty well, and the fact of the matter is we are not far apart. For the most point your preaching to the choir, but I do not put him #1 all time. I will say this that since class of 80(Chavez,Curry,Nelson) May along with Sweet Pea are the best I've ever seen fight and its not real close. As far as who I think is better between them that's the ONE FIGHT I have never had a strong opinion AT ALL. Its would be silly to argue when are thoughts on him are this close.

Yea no doubt they're careers(or primes anyways) never really came close to overlapping. I have heard about that sparring session, but always heard Pea got the better of it. Which makes sense since May was just 16, but I do remember hearing Pea was REAL impressed and told him he would be #1 PFP some day. I know May was sparring with(and living with) Frankie Randall around that time also. I did hear May was getting the best of him, May even said he "pulled back" because Randall was taking him out and buying him stuff and May did not want to lose friendship. Anyways a lot of times a young amateur will do better with a top pro because he has been thinking about the sparring match all week where to the top pro its just another sparring match. Yea its my dream match and REALLY believe we would need three to find out since BOTH could adjust and readjust. Man the skills on display would be out of this world imo.

Chino maybe roughed Floyd up a little bit (not with punches which is how you score a fight) but in no way shape or form did Floyd lose to Chino in either fight.

The conor fight might not be quality but it is quantity just like previous "great" fighters have done in their careers that nobody wants to use against them like you trying with Floyd.
