Which makes sense since May was just 16, but I do remember hearing Pea was REAL impressed and told him he would be #1 PFP some day. I know May was sparring with(and living with) Frankie Randall around that time also. I did hear May was getting the best of him, May even said he "pulled back" because Randall was taking him out and buying him stuff and May did not want to lose friendship. Anyways a lot of times a young amateur will do better with a top pro because he has been thinking about the sparring match all week where to the top pro its just another sparring match. Yea its my dream match and REALLY believe we would need three to find out since BOTH could adjust and readjust. Man the skills on display would be out of this world imo.
That's not what I heard at all.

        You really suck at lying.
Well jmm hadn't fought at 140 let alone 147. It was first fight at that weight. You don't mention Floyd cheating scales like it's not an issue or something.
If i was Pinocchio id have nothing to worry about can't say same for you

Funny how you conveniently forget that Floyd got hurt on the ribs in sparring for the Marquez fight which set him back on being able to make the weight. So why didn't Marquez take advantage of the ribs? That makes Floyd look even better, DAMN.

Well that's the story I did, but obv I cant say I seen it. The only story I heard about Pea having probs was Holyfield saying the only person he seen ever give Pea probs was Forrest, but that was right after Forrest was killed. Also a lot of times a top AM or a young pro will do well with TOP pro because to the star its just another kid, but to the young guy he is trying to make a point and has prob been thinking about session all week.

Well that's what I heard and neither of us saw it. Also I have heard May talk about it and he never said he got the best of it. Just that he said he knew just how good he was by hanging in there with Pea. Mayweather had no problem in same interview saying how he was getting the best of F Randall while he was staying with him before Chavez rematch. He said he laid off because he did not want to ruin friendship with Randall who was taking him places and buying him things. A lot of times a young pro or top AM will do well with a top pro, and its because to the pro star its just another session with just another kid. Where to the young kid he is trying to make a name and get respect. Whatever happened one thing is FOR SURE and that's a 16yr old Mayweather was not as good as Pea in his prime.

I put on my pants just like they put on their pants. What makes them any better than I am? Because they fought a thousand fights? In my era, it's totally different. You know? It's pay-per-view now, so things change. It's out with the old and in with the new. Things change. Like I said, Muhammad Ali is one hell of a fighter. But Floyd Mayweather is the best. Sugar Ray Robinson is one hell of a fighter, but Floyd Mayweather is the best.”

But your not the best because they've achieved more and have bettervresumes.
You might have better skills in areas but you've got to put it on the line and take risks and Floyd didn't do it enough. Fighting dlh and cotto at 154 but not nel o is just about as daring to be great as Floyd got.
That's just not going to do it for people. Not going to cut the mustard. In 50 years time when people read about Pac s achievement, and guys like srr and Ali people will find it hard to believe they did what they did and think they're not human. Only when they realise they lost some fights that they are human
