Ennis needs some bigger wins still before he's on the shortlist.
Oh, I don't think Ennis gets Spence either. At least not at 147. Spence isn't staying past WW after 2020. I think it is a fair bet to think he will move up after next year. He will just want Pacquiao/Crawford before going up.

So yeah, I think both Ortiz and Ennis end up missing out on Spence. They may get Crawford though. But I was just saying, that's how highly I rate Ennis that I think he is live against both Crawford/Spence NEXT YEAR.

Where Ennis signs is going to be huge. No reason he shouldn't have a network/promoter/advisor deal after his next fight.

No doubt. Be cool if its PBC since they got the overall best fights for him if Spence is around or not.

With Spence leaving the division soon, they don't have any real blue chipper in that division anymore. The rest of the PBC are good to really good, but no one at the truly elite level. Ennis signing with say GBP or TR could change the landscape of the division going forward. If Ennis signs with the PBC, then he pretty much replaces Spence at the top and Haymon can continue to control the division.

Ennis and Haney did it right not signing with a big promoter coming out. But now that they are trying to compete for titles or get on the world level, they definitely need a bigger promotional company/advisor behind them. Haney got it in Matchroom and now Ennis has to find his very soon.
