Who Got Next at WW? Jarron Ennis or Vergil Ortiz Jr

Two of the best young prospects in the game and good bet to be the future of this division. So which one do you guys seeing as the better fighter and the fighter that is at top of the WW division in say two or three years?

Kelly at one point used to be lumped in the conversation, but I was never sold in him and I think it is clear he is just NOT that dude.

Vergil Ortiz has fought nothing but stationary targets aka punching bags. Once he steps into the ring with slick boxers it’s over for him.

I don't think so. Ortiz Jr is the real deal. I mean most will struggle with slick boxers, that goes without saying. But Ortiz has good amateur pedigree will be a top level fighter for years to come.

I personally just rate Ennis higher. I think he is THAT legit and will be a problem for ANY WW in 2020, including Crawford and Spence.

I think Ennis is the one that can really leave a mark.

He really could, and this is why he is the best true FA in the game right now. I mean I think he is with Dunkin but he's without a major network. Whoever picks this kid up will end up having a potential future P4P star and someone that could dominate the 147 and 154 divisions.

Neither of them. They fight at 140 and Crawford and Spence would beat them both 3 years from now in my opinion.

I guess Ennis is a welterweight. Boxrec ranks him 96th in the world which is way lowers than Rolls at 81st and lots laughed at Roos low ranking.

Both fight at WW. Who cares where they are ranked RIGHT NOW. The question is about the future. One is 21 years old, the other just turned 22 years old less than two months ago.

I don't think Spence will be at WW longer past 2020. Crawford could stay there or he may even take his chances at 154. But I think Ennis by next year could give either hell.
