I obviously respect them a lot more than the alphabet groups. But when it comes down to it,there just a magazine IMO.

how on earth can mayweather be number 1 p4p?...his past opponents haven't been all that good......

I thought it got better now that they don't depend on the corrupt alphabet belts. Mayweather was number 2 behind Hopkins before how come nobody complained about that. It was even argued at that time that Hopkins shouldn't be at 1. Now that Hopkins got defeated twice by Taylor it's natural for the 2nd man to go 1st. Besides ...that's their opinion. If Winky or Pacquiao was number 1...I bet somebody else wouldn't agree with it.

who cares about P4P...thats garbage..im refering to the "ring" champion in each division..the Ring usualy recognizes who is the legit champ in each weight class, regardless of what sanctioning body "title" is being held by someone..in some cases the Ring doesnt recognize a true champ in a division , until the top fighters face..for example when Hatton beat Zu..for the "Ring" championship..now he's at 147,,if hestays there..regardless of who picks up his title..until the top fighters at 140 fight there will be no true champ, just title holders...dummies

Mayweather does not have the ring title, Baldomir does. The p4p ranking is different.

I respect it and think it is about the fairest rankings out there. The ABC titles are mostly bull**** there should only be 1 champion in each weightclass and thats how Ring has it so I like it.......Not saying they don't have a few flaws but it is far superior to any of the ABC belt rankings.

In a perfect world we would forget all about the alphabet titles and fighters would fight ONLY for the Ring strap. It's the only belt that means anything at all. I don't think there are many boxing fans that think that it's good having all these different champions - in fact I don't know anyone, whether they're boxing fans or not - that think that's a good idea. So let's get rid of them and make the only world title worth fighting for THE world title. Then you won't get fighters like Gatti (love Gatti don't get me wrong) being able to call themselves two weight world champions.
