I see what your trying to point out. But that differs from fighter to fighter. Your basing your assumption on the fact that GGG had 2 tough fights vs Brook and Jacobs. The way I see it. Him struggling to beat those 2 had nothing to do with him declining. But more with the fact that he finally stepped it up in competition( just look at his resume). And I’ll back my opinion with GGG just having fought and knocking out Steve Rolls. Who is at the same level with everyone Golovkin fought aside from Jacobs, Brook and Gabe Rosado.

exactly and that's what drives my dislike for him. He's entitled because of his fan base,which usually aren't made up of the most intelligent people. If not for politics, he'd likely be sitting with 4 Ls instead of 1, and if not for his nationality, these same fans who worship him would be calling him a ped, belt dropping cherry picker. Now he's a good fighter with some good names on his resume, but ever since the Lara scare 5 yrs ago, he has 3 decent names on his resume. The 36 yr old much smaller Cotto, 35/36 yr old ggg who most had winning both fights vs Canelo, and Jacobs. That summarizes anything meaningful during his last 5 years. 4 meaningful fights, a controversial draw, a controversial win, and 2 decision wins that in reality, he maybe won each by 2 rounds. Crazy.
