Canelo brutally knocked khan out. But up until that point Alvarez was having trouble with khans speed and movement. So Just because he beat brook doesn’t mean he didn’t struggle in the fight. GGG got hit way more than he ever did in previous fights and struggled defensively. So look at the whole fight and not just the outcome

Brook had already expressed to Hearn a desire to fight Golovkin. The fight was made easily they didn't have to get a into a long protracted negotiation. Brook was a top fighter in his weight division and undefeated. There was nothing wrong with this fight.

Brook had already expressed to Hearn a desire to fight Golovkin. The fight was made easily they didn't have to get a into a long protracted negotiation. When the diva's 3 best wins are Lara, Golovkin and Jacobs and 2 of those wins are close, disputed decisions, any victory even one over Khan is a big one. Sh/t, diva's fans even brag about the diva's win over a faded 40+ Mosley.

He was a welter weight. It’s not like he was having trouble making weight and had to move up 2 weight classes because he outgrew the division. Both khan and brook fights were inexcusable fights for both guys.
