It wasn't Prograis pulling out last round. It was either Taylor or Barenchuk. There have been about 4 guys trying to get out this season because they dont seem to be getting paid.Comment

I guess that would make sense. Prograis management team wants to protect their fighter, and if payouts from other fights have been sluggish, then they would want to be sure Prograis would get the money he deserves from a fight they are confident he would win. Maybe he is the only fighter with the ability to make the money up without this series. The other divisions need the WBSS for the publicity.Have done a little digging, the tournament organisers did release a statement about defending their reputation (Lawying up if necessary). Reading between Team Pro and the WBSS, it seems Team Pro wanted some money in escrow. WBSS adding come up with that demand or didn’t want to acknowledge that demand, and now Team pro used that to pull out.
This story isn’t adding up. But am hearing rumours that they had money issues, maybe that’s why Team Pro asked for money in escrow.
Of course, now I am just reading what I want into it as a big supporter of Prograis. Just a frustrating situation for a fan.Comment

It is definitely a frustrating issue, am hearing they are all meeting today to work it all out, which would end up with Pro fighting Taylor in the finale. Which is good news.I guess that would make sense. I know Prograis would be the favourite, but I think Ivan's pressure, crazy angles and power would eventually get to Prograis.
Ivan isn't the fastest, but when he starts unleashing with big shots, it's hard to get out of the way of them. Prograis isn't exactly fast himself. He's there to be hit.Comment
