Well hey, good for Ruiz. The man is showing that he is a fighter in every sense of the word.

Now he's fighting for the purse that he believes is fair. Hey, I can respect that. Just like any fight, he's taking a chance and it might not turn out well, but at least he's fighting (funny enough, by not fighting ).

Joshua also has a set amount in rematch clause.

AJ pay can’t go up without Andy’s going up same percentage as well.

      God you guys are dumb.

If AJ is gonna lose again you want him to lose for $100 mil not $30 mil.
Oh for sure, AJ would also lose out...but so would Ruiz and Haymon. Haymon's a very smart businessman, and it's very obvious a lawsuit would be a terrible business decision. It's an empty threat. As others have said, no harm in making an empty threat -- maybe Ruiz could get a few more M's. But you'd be out your mind to think he'd get more than an extra couple million lmaoo.

But but I thought it was a done deal

Just saying no one or the other camp has come out and said anything about confirmation of this fight but according to many threads it’s like we’re in the 5th round of the rematch already

Headline will say : fight stopped on a technical foul , court case and we’ll be heading to the cards

Damn, Haymon! You do want to give those belts up for shit. Continue to make an ass out of Matchroom and Eddie Hearn. I just love it. Al is really putting squeeze on now. He wants to challenge the legality of that rematch clause in court. He believes that it's unenforceable.

Yeah please do that and let it drag on for several months or even years. That's playing right into the PBC's hands.

They want to challenge the legality of this rematch clause in court anyhow. They believe it's unenforceable and non-binding to begin with.

This way they can prolong and delay the rematch for as long as they can in order to set up the undisputed bout between Wilder vs Ruiz; Early next year. That way Joshua would never get those belts back again.
