Sound advice here but it's scary to hear that Khans complete mismatch against a average old kid from three weight divisions down is considered by some as a 'high profile' fight. Absolutely ridiculous. That fight would not be worthy of a under card on a show in the UK .This is disturbing as the Arabs have the money but are clueless to what they are watching and it seems would willing put on fights like Khans and actually walk away thinking they had seen Khan win as many have said the WBC weltewrweight title when in fact in his previous fight he did fight a true welterweight champion and got hammered and quit.

I wish one of these big fights could be in a place like Jamaica.

Riyadh might have money but there's not much to do there for fun.

Easy answer: Brits and Americans. Not sand-people, surely?

I was thinking they'll mostly likely get Khan on the undercard to have some sort of hype surrounding this card for the locals. Hughie will be fighting Povetkin so I'm not sure if he'll go for that one. Okolie-Ngabu is likely going to be on it, they can flesh this undercard out nicely.

Literally any nation that's actually interested in boxing. Kazakhstan would've made more sense. Even China, its really coming on there. Japan is a mecca of boxing in itself, a guaranteed sellout crowd of passionate fans right there.

Yeah fans are very passionate in Africa, the Carribean, central and south America, Eastern and central Asia. The Middle East is literally the deadest area for boxing.

I have never been there but if the average high in December is 72F with cool nights then the temperature should not be an issue. You mentioned that it hit 100F when you were there but that is an extreme and not anywhere near the average. Las Vegas obviously hosts many major fights and they have a desert climate as well.

How about people who are not (at least not currently) enslaving other people?

Huge market to tap into in the GCC. They will be able to charge big money for the tickets there. Guaranteed all the expats from Bahrain Kuwait UAE and KSA will come and spend
big money on merchandise and tickets. This will raise AJ's and boxing's profile. You guys are under estimating the appetite for entertainment options regionally. Also combat sports and even WWE are huge there. This event has lots of potential.

Also Dazn has not expanded to this market yet. I can see them racking up new subscriptions with all the disposable income here.
