That's a lie. I've heard the number was actually closer to $40 mil. If Eddie Hearn is indeed the one in command here, then why is he compromising by hosting the fight in the Saudis; When he could have just as easily hosted it in Cardiff?
This just proves one thing. That Team Ruiz has some leverage at the bargaining table. No one has ever seen that rematch clause for the exception of the principals and their ancillaries.
None of us know how that rematch clause was worded. It seems to me that Joshua, Eddie and Matchroom have capitulated and are ducking for cover like cowards by giving in to Team Ruiz' demands. It makes them look very weak.Comment

Yeah, I don't get it. I agree, thought DAZN might hold sway. The upside is reigniting interest in the heavyweight division in the U.S., it's been asleep since Lenox Lewis. One eye opens with Wilder and Ruiz, so figured DAZN would push hard for U.S. rematch, but they go and bury it in the middle east. Back to sleep. Surprised AF that Vegas didn't sweep in and blow everyone out of water with a bid.Comment

I'd like to point out to that in a prior thread I said that Ruiz wouldn't be going to the UK if he didn't want to. The same vocal euro(trash) said that Ruiz would have to go wherever Hearn wanted and that was Cardiff.
Thanks for playing, please try again losers.Comment

Oh ok. It wasn’t him it was Hearn. Lol.No, he went to the US to chase the undisputed fight with Wilder. All the other noise was Hearn trying to build hype for the fight and use AJ’s for his Matchroom America thing. AJ doesn’t care about America and conquering the place - left to him, he doesn’t want to fight there, hence he never signed a long contract with DAZN.
A lot of you need to start separating AJBXG/258 from Matchroom and Hearn. Hearn promotes him but he doesn’t manage AJ. AJ is managed by his own company 258 (he’s the CEO) with Freddie Cunningham acting as the guy in-charge.Comment

Hope these aren’t the same investors that were supposed to bring pac/khan to Saudi Arabia then backed out .Comment
