Mayweather ducked PAC in his prime. It’s okay tho becauseJMM got that ko of the century though. Not Pac
Pac's prime would pretty much line up with Mays. That's why Pac put off giving into 100000% random blood testing for so long.
BTW, besides Lucas, who only stood around to make that one last pay day, who has he retired ?!?!?!
Oh yeah, he did ''retire'' JMM
!!!!
Jose Luis Castillo got the win of the century against Mayweather.Last edited by FredWreck; 08-11-2019, 01:30 PM.Comment

Brother John. We cool we go back... we can’t change minds, I’m a *** who believes Jesus is the messiah. I read Hebrew. Never mind. We go back a ways now.
Jesus being fulfilling prophecy and being resurrected is proof enough for me. When I read that the temple cloth was torn.. that significance isn’t lost on me。 I speak Hebrew, I dream in Hebrew, I worship in Hebrew.
My people, have at times not been popular, and have suffered. It’s our fault for not seeking GOD with all our hearts and soul... I like high high grant
I’ve never hid my bias in life. I’m pro Israel
But in boxing, let the best man win. Shalom brotherComment

Welcome back
As I pointed out to a Pac fan, Pac's prime and Mays prime would line up quite nicely.
Pac was too superstitious to give into 10000% random blood testing when they were BOTH in their primes

Amen! But you used to much logic. A puncher will almost always age better because power is last to go and reflexes and speed 1st. I agree Floyd beats him easier in 2010, but Pac was afraid of needles the Tats he had must have been stickers.09 wasn’t Floyd’s prime. You could argue it was his peak but that’s a losing argument. He came back out of nearly a two year retirement in 09 and fought once. Floyd’s prime was 130-140. Ended with the Hatton fight at 147. They were in two different divisions throughout their primes. Floyd’s initial return just out of his prime, he dominated a man manny could never clearly and outright beat. It was always clear who would win. A fight closer to their primes would’ve been even worse for manny.Comment

Yea its a sorta stat cuz who keeps track of how many guys this guy or that guy retired. Its not a stat anyone keeps up with.
Idk thats exactly the issue like I said. Okay Manny retired 5 or 6 guys or w/e, but how many guys did Oscar retire. How many guys did SRL retire. How many guys did Marciano retire. This was legit a thread & I'm pretty sure Rocky retired more guys than you got listed for Manny right now, but I didn't go digging up the thread so idk for sure.
But w/e the main point is no one is tracking how many people guys are retiring so who knows who gots the record for sure.I'm gonna go ahead and smoke then get to the full.Originally posted by Eff PandasLooked up the Rocky retirement stat cuz I was legit curious & I came up with 15 if you count guys who didn't fight for a year+ after they fought Rocky or 13 if you only count guys who fought Rocky in their last fight.
1st Fight/Mar. 1947 Lee Epperson (Pro Debut) KO by 3
3rd Fight/July 1948 John Edwards (1-1) KO by 1
6th Fight/Aug. 1948 Jimmy Weeks (Pro Debut) KO by 1
7th Fight/Sept. 1948 Humprey Jackson (4-2) KO by 1
16th Fight/May 1949 Jimmy Evans (18-7) KO by 3
18th Fight/July 1949 Harry Haft (13-7) KO by 3
19th Fight/Aug. 1949 Pete Louthis (30-12-5) KO by 3
23rd Fight/Dec. 1949 Pat Richards (24-6-5) KO by 2 *had 1 more fight 3.5yrs later*
25th Fight/Dec. 1949 Carmine Vingo (16-1) KO by 6
27th Fight/June 1950 Eldridge Eatman (22-20-5) KO by 3
29th Fight/Sept. 1950 Johnny Shkor (30-18-2) KO by 6 *had 1 more fight 3.5yrs later*
38th Fight/Oct. 1951 Joe Louis (66-2) KO by 8
39th Fight/Feb. 1952 Lee Savold (100-37-3) KO by 7
40th Fight/Apr. 1952 Gino Buonvino (24-14-8) KO by 2 *fought in his 28th fight*
44th Fight/May 1953 Jersey Joe Walcott (51-17-2) KO by 1 *fought in his 43rd fight*
It has been a long as **** time since I looked at Marciano, but, I did do the same thread at another forum that took it much more seriously. I'll post what came of that research when I find it, BUT, this blows Pac's argument way the **** apart.
Thanks again for the post.Comment

Retired immediately after fighting Marciano:
Lee Epperson
John Edwards
Jimmy Weeks
Humphrey Jackson
Jimmy Evans
Harry Haft
Pete Louthis
Carmine Vingo
Eldridge Eatman
Gino Buonvino
Joe Louis
Lee Savold
Jersey Joe Walcott
that's 13
The following would go on to have five fights or less after facing Marciano:
Tommy DiGiorgio
Bill Hardeman
Gilbert Cardone
Gilley Ferron
Artie Donato
Joe Dominic
Pat Richards
Phil Muscato
Johnny Shkor
Harold Mitchell
Willis Applegate
Bernie Reynolds
That's 12 who retired five fights or less after facing Marciano.
So, 13 inarguable direct to retirement wins. 12 speculative retirement wins. total of a possible 25 retirements wins, that's more than half the man's win, and more than half his KOs.
One thing is for sure, if you fought Marciano you probably didn't have much of a career afterward.
Pac's got what now?Comment
