Idk thats exactly the issue like I said. Okay Manny retired 5 or 6 guys or w/e, but how many guys did Oscar retire. How many guys did SRL retire. How many guys did Marciano retire. This was legit a thread & I'm pretty sure Rocky retired more guys than you got listed for Manny right now, but I didn't go digging up the thread so idk for sure.

But w/e the main point is no one is tracking how many people guys are retiring so who knows who gots the record for sure.

09 wasn’t Floyd’s prime. You could argue it was his peak but that’s a losing argument. He came back out of nearly a two year retirement in 09 and fought once. Floyd’s prime was 130-140. Ended with the Hatton fight at 147. They were in two different divisions throughout their primes. Floyd’s initial return just out of his prime, he dominated a man manny could never clearly and outright beat. It was always clear who would win. A fight closer to their primes would’ve been even worse for manny.

PAC was aggressive & relentless in his prime.
Battled tough fights with Marquez but always got the knockdown.

Would’ve been a different fight with Floyd in PAC prime, that’s for sure. That’s why Mayweather avoided it.
