Does PAC hold the record of retiring his opponents?

List of fighters that Pacquiao has retired:

    De La Hoya
    Margarito
    Hatton
    Bradley
    Matthysse
    Broner
    (Thurman’s next)

That’s an awful lot of great boxers to be retired at the hands of the GOAT boxer himself, Emmanuel.

If I’m not mistaken, Margarito was still active a year or two ago. As for Hatton, his final fight took place in 2012 Vs. Sechenko but yeah he was inactive from 09- ‘12 after Pacquiao flattened him.

The most realistic approach is to consider who fought Pacman to get their retirement payment while they still had a name to pull in some big bucks. And con lots of punters into thinking that it would be a great fight. Packy, the master at picking those on the way out.

PAC literally RETIRED all those listed fighters. A couple MAY have tried to come back from retirement but we’re not the same. PAC took their soul.

How’s many fighters has Mayweather retired?
Idk of any, Floyd is a points fighter. So technically, not a fighter at all.

why do you have to mention Floyd to praise Manny?

Half those fighters were already mentally broken by Floyd. The rest already had one foot out of the door before they fought Pac.

I would have loved for any of them to have come back in the ring and show everybody that they still have left in the tank. Hatton tried but he was years too late to comeback. Matthysse’s end fight was unsatisfactory. Broner and Thurman still has it. Both guys are just getting emotional with their defeats.

Manny ruined Oscar and Hatton’s plans to fight at Wembley. They could still had gone with it. People would have still watched them both fight.
