Best fight the best would only work in boxing if fighter are from the same stable, are willing to fight each other and the promoter wants the same. If any of these are in place, there is no way that noble motto to work in this politics-ridden business.

Crossover between Shields and Nunes? Could be fun, but for a true cross-over you can just do boxing and call it a cross-over. Remove wrestling and keep legs and arms - that's a cross-over.

He’s been saying this for Awhile.The problem with him is his reputation not paying the fighters their worth.As far as getting young and upcoming fighters ,he has to put on a lot of shows to get there name out there, and that’s not cost affected.Hes looking to get these pbc fighters .Who are known but not attached to anyone .Yes al Haymon is in charge ,but remember he’s a advisor. You ask any of those fighters that fight for PBC and they love the guy so he must be doing something right

The solution to that is find a better job if you can't afford 8 dollars a month for Dazn which then package comes to or don't get it and cry about other networks supplying the grown ups with more fights.

Im thinking hes gonna try to restart/rebuild the boxing business, the TUF series seems to be what saved him, Im thinking hes going breed new tough hungry fighters on a new series through primetime and build on from there, Dana knows how to hype fighters im interested in seeing this Zuffa boxing

Those guys will leave Dana the second they're offered some real money from a boxing promoter. If Dana went that route, he'd have to sign these guys to lifetime contracts.

And even if he does breed them from the ground up, they're not going to be fantastic boxers. The great guys have already been swooped up by promoters who have guys scouting amateur boxing for decades. Dana is way out of his depth here. This will be like when you could order those "tough man boxing" events on PPV back in the 90's
