don't see this working . can't see the big name fighters signing up. not great for the fans either it's hard enough for the big fights to get made with the dazn-pbc-espn situation. Adding 1 more to the mix makes life harder. good for the fighters tho

only chance this could possibly work is he throws all his eggs in 1 basket and targets 1 or maybe 2 divisions abit like the first WBSS. they would have to be weightclasses where there isn't much interest. I still think that's unlikely tho

Good on white , very shrewd business man and knows the boxing business because he was a boxing promoter at one time before the UFC so he has experience all over the fight game. Imop should have invested in Dazn though as the platform is right there ,I guess he like challenges. In the end the fans win because White doesn't play around and makes guys fight who they should.

That's the problem though, how would he make people fight? The UFC invented mma in its current form, he can order the fights because he has all those fighters under contract, the UFC isn't the only game in town but pretty close to it. Boxing has been around for 100+ years, with all the entrenched players, promotional contracts, networks etc.

What is he going to do, through a couple billion at it, ask Dazn how that is working for them, not exactly market dominance at this point anyway.

Hopefully he brings something new to the table, separating the promoters from the networks would be great, every fight goes to purse bids, whoever pays the most gets the fight. Buts he's just an old school promoter so u can't see that happening.

He's looking at up and comers and believe me there's hundreds of guys you never seen at lighter weights to heavyweight there's literally 100 guys outside the box ( no pun ) he can put on it with undefeated records. People forget boxing is global not just a U.S /U.K thing that's a minor section.

Dana Whyte is the smartest business man with the more lucrative backing and ideas ,he can do it. He knows to make something work millions have to be lost ,it will be UFC all over again and wont see any profit for a minute but he's not taking fighters ,I think he's just matching them up earlier with contracts limited to a few fights ata time would be the best bet not to scare fighters off, that would work .
