People forget boxing is global not just a U.S /U.K thing that's a minor section.

Dana Whyte is the smartest business man with the more lucrative backing and ideas ,he can do it. He knows to make something work millions have to be lost ,it will be UFC all over again and wont see any profit for a minute but he's not taking fighters ,I think he's just matching them up earlier with contracts limited to a few fights ata time would be the best bet not to scare fighters off, that would work .
Maybe you're right, but if he starting with prospects he's not going to be matching the best with the best which is the statement I was replying to, it's easy to make fights when everyone is under contract to you, unless he takes over boxing he's not going to have that luxury.

I wish him well, anyone trying new things to move the needle is great, like matchroom putting shows on in Italy, Spain and Germany etc that's great, build the base.

As far as Dana being the smartest business man, don't know where that came from, from all reports he wasn't even the smartest of the UFC owners, that was Lorenzo, but we'll see I guess.

God knows it'll have to be better then GBP attempt at mma, Jesus that was embarrassing, if Canelo showed that presser to a judge he might get out of his contract for free.

So when he says he's going to be putting the best against the best, he means the best club fighters who are willing to fight over $60 against each other. That makes more sense.

Once again, you're not making sense.

It's my weekend now, Juggs. I'm no longer getting paid, so I'm done talking to you. Back on block you go. I'm sure I can pick right back up at exposing you for the down syndrome ****** that you are Sunday night at 11pm EST. You don't make it difficult. I suggest doing some cardio in that time.

He can just sign all of his MMA fighters to boxing contracts and have Beat them up one by one

Unless he offers the top guys the world, as far as pay goes, he will pull the same BS ALL the other promoters pull.

He pays his ufc fighters like shyt. How is he not just going to become another boxing parasite?

The boxing swamp needs to be drained. Starting with the WBA AND WBC. Next kill the IBF, IBO, AND WBO. After that take out arum and golden boy. THAT would be a fantastic start!!

No it doesn't, what happens in the UFC is they hype subpar fighters to make you think they are better than they are. Does Rousy, Lesner, and Mcgregor ring a bell? Among others.

Im thinking hes gonna try to restart/rebuild the boxing business, the TUF series seems to be what saved him, Im thinking hes going breed new tough hungry fighters on a new series through primetime and build on from there, Dana knows how to hype fighters im interested in seeing this Zuffa boxing

He would need to over pay C or B- level fighters.

He may be able to get Peter Quilian or something similar too him like a Saunders or Eubanks Jr.

Honestly all his money should go into buying the IBO belt and keep that in house.

Nobody in boxing will respect this league if he adds his own belt. If you try to get his fighters fighting for the WBC WBO WBA or IBF it will not work do to he will be at the mercy of boxing politics.

Good luck but seems like a waste of money.

They’re not trying to “change boxing” or takeover or even be one of the dominant players in the space, regardless of what DW says. Watch what they do, instead. They’re merely going to, over time, build into a player in that industry. They don’t need to make money on that particular venture (which is good because, like most boxing promoters, they won’t). Their ROI will come in the form of their ability to bundle the content in several years as part of their next domestic and international broadcast deals. They’re merely expanding out and diversifying.
