Heh... Good stuff for the kid... balls, but not brains.

Should of absolutely taken the money AND on the condition that he fight the winner of Kovalev/Canelo for the belt.

What condition ? do you think Canelo will just sign to do a run in LHW against whoever ?? you dont really think he is in a position to dictate the schedule of Canelo dont you?
Canelo sees Kov as a 1 time LHW fight , where he can (at least to his belief) take down a world champ in LHW , once he accomplishes that (if at all) he will not be campaigning there and he will certainly have no interest fighting Yarde who is a complete no name with no belts.

He's got skills, that's for sure. He's trained by a guy who spent alot of time with Floyd Mayweather Sr learning his craft.

Yarde only has 12 amateur fights which is why he has been moved slow. However, he has destroyed everybody he faced so us English fans have given him criticism for not stepping up, which is why he's not really rated by us. He has also ducked all the domestic competition.

However, Kovalev is a huge step up and if he wins or fights hard in a loss then he gets his respect.

I think he's got skills and a good team around him. He's going to give a good account if himself but on paper Kovalev should beat him easy.

If Yarde wins then we might have a special talent on our hands.

The kids got cojones and I like it!

Risk it all or play it safe, he clearly wants to be taken seriously so he opted to take a very dangerous fight at such a very young stage of his career!

Either Yarde is gonna highlight reel KO Kovalev in Russia in front of his countrymen or Kovalev is gonna knock out Yarde in brutal devastating fashion!

One of the most compelling fights this year, can’t wait!

Very difficult to say based on the level of opposition he’s fought!
He can punch but this is a massive step up and my hunch is he’ll be found wanting!

Kovalev will dismantle him in a few rounds.
              Kovalev is an underrated “boxer”

Great timing and accuracy, which is where his power comes from.

I predict a kovalev stoppage in 3 rounds

Underrated boxer who could hardly touch an old bhop with reach and age advantages over him , while in m his prime. He's an overrated boxer. Yarde will stop the soft body Russian in better fashion than ward did.

I guess we will see. Don’t cry to much when Kovalev shows yarde that there’s levels to this.
Yarde is nowhere near the level of ward

... the kid is ******: one just doesn't go to Chelyabinsk (Russia) to get a "fair shot"... but ok...

Yarde is thier chance at a believable champion and they put him down. Yarde, if you read this, get your ass to work.
He just doesn't seem like the real deal to me. The way his career has been about just knocking out tomato cans, and now his big title shot. Why has he not been put in with a decent contender or an ex - champion to measure how ready he is, like every fighter should before their first title shot.
175 is a hard weight class at world level with big punchers, I'm just not convinced Yarde can compete with the likes of Gvozdyk, Beterbiev etc. He's just not earned my backing yet in the ring, I'm like that with every fighter- I need to see they actually have the goods.
If Kovalev isn't shot, we'll get to see if Yarde can hang with a live dog in this fight. If he does, then I'll have faith in him to compete with the rest.
Just looking good knocking out hand picked opponents doesn't really mean anything.
