True.. Benavidez vs Smith is a huge fight too

This is likely an attempt for him to pretend that he's a 4 division champion, meanwhile, 168 is stacked with real champions that he's looking right past for Kovalev.
Very good post IMO. Canelo would rather pass up a bout with Smith, who might KO him, and Andrade, who would stink up the joint but could possibly win a decision. Kovalov is past his due by date, however if (IF) there is no weight drained figure, and they can both go to the weigh in at 175, the. I do respect Clenyellow for moving way up ro 175.

Won't be a fight the casuals care about, but I sure do and so does anyone who knows anything about boxing.

Smith could KO Canelo, but Kovalev couldn't ?

No, I don't think so. 5 years ago, sure, when he was Krusher. I think now he is looking to box more, post Ward. Yes he ko'd two guys since his last Ward loss but they were not Grade A competition. Alvarez TKO'd him when he gassed out but I was at the rematch and Sergey boxed great but cautiously. I think he would be cautious vs the Canelo as well.

Anyone else pick up on the fact that Canelo was not going to fight this Sept? I started noticing this months ago and when he publicly started saying he refused too fight GGG that din't smell right. I guess if you can't beat GGG @35 yo or 37 yo wait till hes 50 yo, right.

This guy is a real piece of work. GGG is waiting for his opportunity to exact revenge while he still has a chance to compete before he's 40.

They paid him ( Canelo ) 365 million dollars MOSTLY based upon a third mega-fight (mega financially) and he's acting as if he doesn't owe anybody anything.

Why the hell should he be allowed to just lounge around and wait for the outcome of a fight 2 weight classes beyond his active class?

Step up you cherry-picking marinating cro-magnon conceited humorless buffoon with less personality than a traffic light.

How long has this guy treated the MW division like a pitstop?

Serious people have invested nearly half a billion dollars in signing two middleweights who have fought two inconclusive fights.

If Canelo has any sense of decency, gratitude, and respect, he'll do what he's being paid to do.

Golden Boy is sour because Eddie Hearn is showing them up and slowly taking up the spotlight, putting on good cards and trying to build a boxing empire that will see a thriving European market link up with a U.S market.

They look like sulking little schoolboys who refuse to do their homework ATM.

That's not true. Mall told Jacobs he wants the fight but Jacobs wanted to talk about "M's" & Boo Boo said him & Jacobs are good friends & that he wouldn't want to fight Jacobs but will if he has to. Mall & Boo Boo have been trying to fight Nelo since 154..

This heartless and gutless bum is pathetic! It's obvious he no longer loves the sport of boxing or the competition anymore. He let his fans down everywhere by allowing his fear of one man to deprive us boxing fans of one last super fight this year.

Golden Boy is sick and tired of his super Diva act and so is DAZN. I bet now DAZN regrets ever signing him because he has been defiant and bucking against their authority ever since he's been there.

They should just buy out the rest of his contract. This way he can fight anytime feels like it.
