Canelos Willing to move of his self proclaimed date/ Take less $ / Damage the business relationship he has with Dazn / Might be on the the verge of giving GB the axe. That’s pretty serious sh.it / Something is making Canelo ( Who I’m not a fan of ) for the first time in his career openly not willing and refusing to fight someone and is doing anything in his power and using all his leverage to make sure it doesn’t happen.

For me these actions go a little beyond I don’t like him that’s why I’m not fighting him excuse.
so u don't believe the "he doesn't like him" excuse...ok I get that

but you cant tell me you think hes afraid of him in the ring...you've basically admitted that canelo isn't....having to dig deep is not something fighters are new to.....tons of guys have had to do it and were ready to do it again asap....canelo has never proven to be a coward and as I said he fought golovkin the way golovkin asked the 2nd time around....golovkin did nothing to damage canelo physically or psychologically in that ring and scare him

so you do believe that theres a behind the scenes power struggle? between him, dazn and Oscar maybe? that would make more sense

simply saying canelo had to dig deep is pretty much devoid of logic and what weve seen.....id say of the 3 possibilities it actually makes the least sense.....

id buy the power struggle excuse...but you will never sell me on canelo being afraid....because theres nothing that points to it

The guys a fighter so he isn’t afraid

But after being ridiculed by what he did in the first fight even by his own countrymen for treating it like a track meet , ( F.uck Carlos Santana even sh.it on him during one of his concerts) Canelo being the Uber proud man he is had no choice but to stand his ground.

By Standing his ground he had to go go into deep waters like never before and have to deal with Golovkins non stop pressure and onslaught for 12 full rounds . It would appear to the outsider Canelo doesn’t want to go through that again and is now doing anything he can and using any all leverage he has to avoid another 12 rounds of that.

I don’t think that’s devoid of logic / happens all the time in the sport , Fighters going to places they don’t want to go to and more often then not especially as they age or get comfortable in life they aren’t willing to walk through that fire and continue,
Canelo seems to be unwilling to go through that fire again against Golovkin.

If There’s a power struggle is because Dazn wants what’s best for their business and that’s Canelo/ Golovkin and Canelo has no regard for his business partners who gave him 1/3 of Billion dollars, in business both sides of the partnership should win and it’s clear Canelo has no regard for anyone but himself and Dazn has to treat their temperamental Diva with kid gloves because he is their best attraction but also hurting them at the same time.

DAZN did not deposit 1/3 of a billion dollars in canelos bank account...he doesnt have it yet and thats a max number that he can reach...

the fact that you think that canelo went into deep waters and that you say you dont like him tell the whole story..im not even a canelo fan but at least he has my respect....he wasnt into deep waters....he didnt even have to fight like that...he did so because it was asked and he wanted to deliver for the fans...and he has balls that golovkin couldnt even fathom(you know the guy that ran from a featherfisted ward at 168 when ran his mouth about anyone from 154-168 yet didnt make one meaningful fight at 154-168 and his only meaninfgul fights are canelo)......and he was never in deep waters...thats your imagination running wild.....

I mean that is EXACTLY what has been written by multiple writers and they point to GBP promising a trilogy that Canelo specifically asked them NOT to.

Not saying it is the case...but this all could be a bit of kayfabe from Canelo and GoldenBoy...Canelo pretty clearly doesn't want to fight GGG right now for whatever reason.

Maybe Canelo let GoldenBoy know he didn't want that fight right now...and GoldenBoy is taking the blame in a way and taking the heat while making it seem like Canelo was wronged.

It will be telling to see what happens between Canelo and GoldenBoy going forward...if a big change happens it is probably true that GB was being shady...if nothing really changes I think it may have just been a ploy to help Canelo save some face while at the same time allowing him to fight someone he would rather face than GGG.

            Interesting stuff though

it is perfectly understandable, and reasonable, that Canelo is ignoring Golovkin simply because he does not like him

              I don't like Bullshltkin either

nobody likes liars, why would Canelo allow him to profit ?

Not sure what fight you watched. GGG didn’t pressure him in the second fight. Canelo stood toe to toe. Even dared GGG to come at him on the ropes but he got gunshy after eating some good counters. Canelo did exactly what team GGG said he wouldn’t do and was scared to do. We heard for months that if Canelo trades with GGG he’s going to sleep. Didn’t happen.
GGG was the schoolyard bully that got hit in the mouth and had no answer.

If Alvarez pressured Golovkin why wasn't he able to corner him or back him into the ropes?
I could be wrong but I think Alvarez was the only guy to get backed into the ropes.

I didn’t say Canelo pressured him. There’s a difference between standing toe to toe and walking a guy down. That’s not Canelo’s style.
But to say GGG pressured Canelo is just flat out wrong.

fans are truly hilarious defending what happened in that fight

Golovkin shat the bed, and got beaten at his own game
