2019 seems to be a year of rematches.

I like Hurd a lot, but I've been team J-Rock for a LONG time now. WAR J-Rock!!! Do it again!!!

Idk why but this fight is giving me Murata-Brant 2 vibes.

Still going with J-ROC, might change my prediction later

Looking forward to this one. Might even make the trip to take this one in live. Hopefully Hurd's new trainer teaches him some new defense techniques than just using his face to block punches

"In agreeing to multiple concessions going into the first fight, the one thing Williams asked for in return was extended random drug testing to which Hurd agreed. Since then, Williams and Edwards have been vocal in demanding all future opponents must commit to no less than a 90-day window of pre-fight random drug testing.

As it relates to this bout, it would mean a firm enrollment date in place by no later than September 14."

Salute to J-Rock! This is one step in the right direction! I like Hurd, but he's an example of a guy who is taking big risks, trying to weight cut his way to glory! I think he should've decided to pass on this rematch, and go to 160!

Big Hurd fan and also like J-Rock and Bread. I will be pulling for Swift but I feel I'm a little concerned he is switching out trainers (not a bad thing) and going right into a rematch without having that new trainer and having developed a comfort level with that new trainer.

Earlier in his career, Hurd used to box more (albeit against much more limited competition). I'm not sure he can overhaul his style but maybe he can tighten up the defense and work on footwork some.
