There isn't a snowman's chance in hell that he can take Wilders best shot. If that's the plan you might as well start making post-hospital stay plans for after your concussion.

Kownacki has the experience level to fight Wilder, I don't think he can season much anymore, his style is his style. BUT I also do not think we should take him too literally.
What Kownacki has to do is find a comfort zone given his style. He does not apply pressure as much as Ruiz, he is more a boxer puncher with swarming tendencies...Like Evander Holyfield was doing, cept without that power Holy had.
His problem will be following a puncher...a big no no. He is prone to doing that and it could indeed be a disaster. On the other hand what could well happen is his activity level could keep Wilder off balance and from setting properly. He has to change his distance at times and smother, act like a pressure fighter, instead of being at punching range to trade with Wilder.
Wilder does tend to keep his power late, the real punchers do...It means that a guy like Foreman, or Louis should be able to catch you at 2:58 of the 15th round! lol. LIke briggs did to that Russian fighter in the last round. Will Kownacki's chin hold into the late rounds if he gets there?
There is one other possibility and one that I would like to see: Someone hitting Wilder up real good. King Kong hurt him pretty bad. Fury beat him but didn't really threaten to KO him. Can a volume puncher do that to the great windmilling Wilder? Either way...whatever is done Kownacki is not walking through those shots, agreed.
